About Colleen

 Colleen Counselling has recently relocated to County Durham, and offers counselling services in the Darlington and Bishop Auckland area. Colleen has earned a B.S. in Mass Communications, a Masters’ Degree in English and a Juris Doctor Law Degree. Wishing to join the public sector, she worked as a case analyst for the Office of Human Rights, and as a mediator in the office of the New Jersey Attorney General.

 In conjunction, she has worked with a number of crisis intervention and student counselling centres. She has taken graduate Core curriculum counselling modules at San Diego University and the Harvard faculty of psychology and social relationships. Whilst in California, she worked as a trouble shooter for CBS television.

Colleen is a qualified solicitor and member of the Law Society England and Wales and a registered counsellor with the CCC (Counselling Code of Conduct) UK.

Colleen is a full member of the International Society of Professional Counsellors, CRB validated, and holds: PG Cert (Soc Sc)(Open).  S.A.C. Dip. (ASET accredited) Advanced Counselling Skills. Life Skills Coaching.  Professional Hypnotherapy.
