1. Are you a licensed practitioner?
Colleen is a registered member of
the CCC members details at 5122 and
who verify credentials which can be viewed
via the counselling link above. Counsellors
must adhere to their ethical guidelines.
Our Counsellors hold accreditation at either
Advanced Diploma level, BSc, or MSc psychology
with at least four years in practise, and adhere
to the standard of conduct, ethics and
character, (including Criminal Records Bureau
Validation) maintaining a Continuing
Professional Development Profile.

Terms and Conditions
1. You must be 18 years of age or older to use
this service
2. Counselling or therapy services, and the
provision of the services will be governed under
the laws of England and Wales.
3. We will not be held responsible for direct
loss or loss due to internet service or computer
failures.
4. Our counsellors will not provide medical or
legal advice.
5. You should not use this service if you are
suffering from severe mental illness,
schizophrenia, manic depression, clinical
depression or personality disorders, or if you
or someone close to you is in severe crisis.
6. Our confidentiality terms:
Our Counsellors work within the CCC Counselling
guidelines, which are listed in full on the CCC
website which state that counsellors will
maintain confidentiality of everything disclosed
by the client : EXCEPT in the following areas;
i. If a client discloses a serious intent to
harm themselves.
ii. If the client discloses a serious intent
to harm someone else.
iii. If the client discloses abuse of someone
else, including the abuse of a child or an
elderly person.
7. Do not use this service if are contemplating

Telephone Abuse.
Our telephone lines are TPS and CTPS registered.
Calls from Withheld numbers are blocked.
Calls made in order to abuse our services are logged with Durham Constabulary.
Uninvited telephone sales and abusive calls are
reported to the service provider and directly to
the TPS service Information Commissionaires
Office.
Home visiting service.
Home visiting is arranged through referral from
your GP or Service provider.

Applicable to all services.
In using this service you the consumer agree to
the following:
Clear statement.
We are not obligated to provide the service
until your payment has been received.
The contract.
You the consumer offer to buy the service when
you make your payment.
The contract between us to provide you with the
service becomes binding when your payment has
been received.
The service.
The performance of service begins when your
payment has been received.
Under the Distance selling Regulations you the
consumer would normally have a seven day period
in which to cancel your purchase.
But for services that begin before the end of
the seven day period different rules apply where
you the consumer agree that we perform the
contracted service before the end of the usual
seven working day cancellation period.
These rules are as follows.
Where we have supplied the required durable
information before the service starts and the
consumer agrees to the service starting before
the end of the usual cancellation period, their
cancellation rights will end when performance of
the service starts.
You the consumer in making your payment agree
that the performance of service can start when
we receive your payment.
Applicable to all services.
1.The performance of service begins 24 hours
before the confirmed appointment time.
2.All appointment bookings will be confirmed via
e-mail after your payment is received.
3.Payment must be received within 24 hours of
your booking an agreed appointment time.
4.If your payment is not received within 24
hours we will not confirm an appointment
booking, unless a special arrangement has been
agreed.
5.For next day appointments: payment must be
received before 8pm for appointments arranged
for the followings day, unless a special
arrangement has been agreed.
6.Appointment bookings are agreed between 10am
and 8pm daily.
7.The office hours are between 10am and 9pm.
8.Arrangements to accommodate same day
appointments are at our discretion.
9.Appointments or payments made by a third party
are a contract between the fee payer and us and
the terms and conditions herein apply.
Rescheduling. A confirmed appointment time is
rescheduled if notification is received at least
24 hours before the appointment: there are no
additional fees.
Example: notification must be received by the
corresponding time on the previous day.
When a confirmed appointment time is rescheduled
with notification received within 24 hours
before the appointment: an administration fee is
incurred.
Repeat Rescheduling: we reserve the right to
terminate the service if we believe our service
or goodwill is being abused.
Cancellation. Provided at least 24 hours
notification to cancel your confirmed
appointment is given: you will receive a full
refund.
Cancellation within 24 hours of your confirmed
appointment: no refund is payable.
All notifications must be confirmed via e-mail.
We are required to provide the following
information under the regulations.
The goods or services we are selling: personal
and phone counselling service.
The payment arrangements: paypal or Google
Checkout: to cmswan.
The delivery arrangements: personal and phone.
We have provided you the consumer with this
information in advance and you the consumer
agree that your cancellation rights will end as
soon as we start carrying out the contract.
In using our service you agree to the above
terms and conditions.
